Delivery Addresses

We’ll deliver to your home or work address, whatever’s easiest for you. However we can only currently deliver to valid street addresses and cannot currently deliver to P.O. boxes.

What happens once my order has been dispatched?

Kennelgate will email you once your order has been dispatched & collected by our courier. You will then receive a further email and/or text message from DPD once your order has been tracked in to your local DPD depot, this will contain the following details:

Confirming which date your parcel will be delivered

Provide options to reschedule your delivery, which includes:

Change to an alternative delivery date
Select delivery to a preferred neighbour
Have the parcel left in a specified safe place
Collect parcel from local depot or local DPD Pickup Shop
Upgrade delivery to before 10.30am, before 12noon or a Saturday or Sunday

Follow your parcels progress through the DPD website; here you will be able to display the location of the driver in relation to your delivery address and follow your parcel all the way to your front door

What happens on the day of the scheduled delivery?

You will receive a further email and/or text message as soon as your parcel is out for delivery, along with a one hour delivery window so you don't have to wait in all day. If this one hour allocated delivery time is not convenient, you will have several options which include: 

Change to an alternative delivery date
Select delivery to a preferred neighbour
Have the parcel left in a specified safe place
Collect parcel from local depot or local DPD Pickup Shop
Upgrade delivery to before 10.30am, before 12noon or a Saturday or Sunday

Please note: That in times of extreme weather and other events out of our control, delivery times may be affected, we will aim to inform you of any disruption as soon as possible.

Do I need to sign for the delivery?

Please remember that deliveries will need to be signed for, unless you have advised otherwise when opting for your parcel to be left in a safe place. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are home or are able to collect the item from the courier’s depot if they were unable to reach you at home

What happens if I miss my delivery?

DPD will leave a ‘Sorry We Missed You’ card, they will also let you know via email and/or text message straight away so you can rearrange your delivery where ever you are so you don’t have to wait until you get home. Thanks to DPD’s advanced technology, they will even send you a picture of where their driver has left the calling card.

We want to ensure that you get your parcel as soon as possible; you will have a range of options to choose from including:

Reschedule the delivery date
Reschedule the delivery date and request to have the parcel left in a specified safe place
Reschedule the parcel to my prefferd neighbour
Reschedule to collect the parcel from local depot or local DPD Pickup Shop
Reschedule and upgrade delivery to before 10.30am, before 12noon or a Saturday or Sunday

How do I upgrade my delivery?

Once your order has been dispatched and collected by DPD you will have the option to pay to have your delivery upgraded directly with DPD if nessasary. When DPD notify you about your delivery the night before, they’ll give you access to a range of handy options, including upgrading your delivery. Simply the follow the online instructions from either your email or text message. These charges are as follows:

Before 10.30am delivery £10.00
Before 12noon delivery £5.00
Saturday delivery £5.00
Sunday delivery £5.00
